Kesang Dorjee

Kesang Dorji, a proud native of Paro District, has been sharing the magic of Bhutan since 2005. From rugged Himalayan treks to cultural tours, spiritual journeys, and now motorbiking adventures, Kesang’s passion for his homeland shines through in every experience he leads.

Whether guiding travellers through ancient monasteries, organizing immersive motorbike routes, or capturing Bhutan’s beauty through his lens, Kesang brings a unique blend of local wisdom, creativity, and heartfelt storytelling to every journey.

Kesang offers world-class experiences rooted in authentic Bhutanese insight. An avid lover of the outdoors, he balances work with personal passions like soccer, archery, hiking, biking, and reading, bringing infectious energy and curiosity to every interaction. Known for his warm humour and captivating tales, he weaves Bhutan’s rich heritage into every tour, making each ride with him more than a journey — it’s a soulful connection to the heart of Bhutan.

Glenn Rowley

Pioneer
Expedition Leader
Advocate for Sustainable Travel

Glenn has been a pioneer in adventure travel for over 40 years, helping shape some of the most inspiring journeys across Asia.

His connection with Bhutan began in 1993, when he helped map out trekking routes for western travellers. Since then, he has played a key role in developing many of Bhutan’s classic trails — including Chomalhari, Laya, Lunana, Bumthang, and Merak–Sakteng. He also completed the first-ever mountain-bike crossing of the country, later returning to race the legendary Tour of the Dragon in 1995 and, most recently, to ride 1,200 km across Bhutan’s high passes with Kezang in 2024.

As Director of Operations for The Juniper Trust, Glenn now works voluntarily to lead sustainability and education projects across the Himalayas. Through Nepal Evergreen, he supports community reforestation and school-rebuilding initiatives that bring long-term benefits to remote mountain communities.

With Bhutan Dragon Riders, Glenn brings together his pioneering spirit, deep Himalayan knowledge, and lifelong passion for motorcycles — creating a new kind of adventure that celebrates Bhutan’s culture, landscapes, and people.
