Why ride in Bhutan?
With its quiet roads, breathtaking Himalayan scenery, and welcoming culture, Bhutan is one of the world’s most rewarding destinations for motorbike travel. Riding here is not just transport — it’s an adventure in itself, supported by guides who bring Bhutan to life in ways no independent journey ever could.

The bikes
We provide Royal Enfield motorcycles — reliable, comfortable, and perfectly suited to Bhutan’s mountain roads. These classic adventure bikes handle winding highways and rugged terrain with ease. Where available, we also carry spare bikes to keep the journey running smoothly.

Guided travel in Bhutan
It’s important to note that in Bhutan it is not possible to hire a motorbike and travel alone. All visitors must be accompanied by a licensed guide. For our biking adventures, this is a real advantage:
Guides bring deep local knowledge of Bhutan’s culture, history, religion, and customs.
If you choose a guide on a motorbike, they will ride alongside you throughout the trip.
If your guide is in a support car, you can agree convenient meeting points — such as scenic stops, local restaurants, or cultural sites — giving you independence on the road while still enjoying expert support.
Guides also take care of entry to important sites, logistics, and local arrangements, making the journey smooth and stress-free.

Why this motorbike
Bhutan’s roads are a rider’s dream but also a challenge: endless curves, steep climbs, changing altitudes, and the occasional rough patch. The Himalayan 450 is built exactly for this — reliable at high passes like Chele La (3,988m), stable through tight hairpins, comfortable over long distances, and forgiving on uneven surfaces. It’s powerful enough to cruise the highways yet light and nimble enough to dance through Bhutan’s legendary bends.
With the Himalayan 450 beneath you, every ride is confident, comfortable, and full of adventure — exactly the way motorbiking in Bhutan should be.
