How to book a tour

Number 1

Booking Process

Following your initial enquiry, whether for a scheduled group departure or a private itinerary, we will prepare and send you a proposed itinerary and quotation.

The prices shown for our scheduled group departures are fully inclusive and include return flights between Kathmandu and Bhutan, all accommodation, meals, permits, visas, support vehicles, guides, and motorcycle hire (unless otherwise stated).

We can also arrange flights from Delhi or Bangkok instead of Kathmandu, subject to availability and any difference in airfare at the time of booking. Any additional flight costs will be advised before your booking is confirmed.

To make a provisional flight reservation and confirm availability, we will require a copy of your passport. We will also check the availability of flights, accommodation, guides, and motorcycles where applicable.

Once we have confirmed availability and you are happy to proceed, we will invite you to pay your deposit. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will secure your flights, visa, permits, accommodation, and other travel arrangements, and your booking will be confirmed.

Complete the Booking Form

Once you have reviewed your itinerary and are ready to proceed, please complete our booking form and return it to us. This provides us with the information we need to process your reservation and make the necessary travel arrangements.

Once we receive your booking form, we’ll review your application and may get in touch with a few quick questions to ensure the trip is the right fit and meets your expectations.

Your booking is confirmed once it has been accepted by our team and your deposit has been received.

Number 3

Pay Your Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of USD $1,000 per person is required to secure your booking. Once received, we will confirm and reserve your Bhutan flights, visa, permits, accommodation, guides, and other travel arrangements in advance of your arrival.

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit has been received and all reservations have been secured.

Number 4

Final Payment

The balance of your trip cost is due 45 days prior to departure.

Once the balance has been received, we will arrange the issuance of your flight tickets, visa, and travel documentation. These are normally issued and sent to you approximately 30 days before departure, although this may vary slightly depending on airline and visa processing times.

Flights

The trip price includes return flights between Kathmandu and Paro (Bhutan).

If it better suits your travel plans, we can also arrange flights into Bhutan via Bangkok or Delhi instead. We are happy to discuss the various routing options and help you choose the most convenient itinerary.
